Who is behind Fuzzino?

Fuzzino was developed in 2013 as a data fuzzing library at the Fraunhofer Institute for Open Communication Systems FOKUS in Berlin. The research team, which specializes in security testing, develops fuzzing heuristics for both data fuzzing (based on Fuzzino) and behavioral fuzzing. Fuzzino has been further developed in the context of various research projects and tests and is already being used by various tool providers.

Fraunhofer FOKUS is one of the leading institutes in the field of applied research for information and communication technologies (ICT). Since 1988, the institute has been shaping digital change and its effects on society, the economy and technology.

The business unit “Quality Engineering” offers methods, processes, and tools for ensuring, evaluating, and optimizing the quality of software-based systems.
